Our Clean & Lean Class runs for 5 weeks and focuses on individualized weight loss programs and the complexity of losing weight. We are all unique, and at LJMD we do not believe there can be a one-plan-fits-all solution when it comes to feeling well.

Clean & Lean Fish Tacos
Ingredients per person:
- 2 large lettuce leaves *romaine works well
- 3 ounces firm fleshed fish such as cod
- 1/8 teaspoon cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon Chipotle chili powder
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoon grapeseed oil or other high smoking point cooking oil (coconut oil)
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup lettuce leaves
- 1/8 avocado, sliced
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
Season fish with cumin, chipotle chili powder, salt and pepper, set aside.
In medium skillet, add 2 teaspoons oil and warm skillet to medium heat.
Add fish flesh side down to sear and cook for 3-5 minutes and flip and cook another 3-5 minutes or until fish cooked through, opaque and flaking.
In small dish, gently mix mayonnaise, lime zest, lime juice, salt and pepper to taste.
When fish is cooked through, flake fish to bite size pieces.
Layer lettuce, tomato, avocado, fish.
Drizzle top of lettuce leaves with lime mixture.
