COVID-19 Office Policies

During these strange and difficult times, we have implemented changes to our office procedures in an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy. 

Although we have missed you and look forward to seeing you, please do not visit us unless you have a scheduled appointment. At the time of scheduling, we will conduct COVID-19 screening questionnaires and will have you answer questions when you arrive at the office, as well.

Typical screening questions will include:

  • fever or chills?
  • cough?
  • shortness of breath?
  • gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea)?
  • new loss of smell or taste?
  • muscle or body aches?
  • headaches?
  • sore throat?
  • exposure to someone with COVID-19?

In addition, prior to entering the building, we will ask that you call (585) 641-7102 to check in and will allow one person in the office at a time (with the exception of those needing a care provider). We will require that you wear a mask while in the office and can provide one if needed. Upon entering the office, we will ask you to use hand sanitizer and we will take your temperature–if it is 99.5 degrees or greater we will ask you to reschedule. 

During your time in the office, we will practice Physical (Social) Distancing. Please note that in order to accommodate social distancing and cleaning procedures between patients, our schedule for in-person appointments may be limited. We will continue to offer Telehealth appointments (phone or video) if preferred.
